I am Ms Justina Oge. A computer scientist with central bank of Nigeria.

I am 26 years old, just started work with C.B.N. I came across your file which was marked X and your released disk painted RED, I took time to study it and found out that you have paid VIRTUALLY all fees and certificate but the fund has not been release to you.

The most annoying thing is that they cannot tell you the truth that on no account will they ever release the fund to you. Please this is like a Mafia setting in Nigeria; you may not understand it because you are not a Nigerian.

The only thing I will need to release this fund is a special HARD DISK we call it HD120 GIG. I will buy two of it, recopy your information, destroy the previous one, and punch the computer to reflect in your bank within 24 banking hours. I will clean up the tracer and destroy your file, after which I will run away from Nigeria to meet with you.

If you are interested. Do get in touch with me immediately, You should send to me your convenient tell/fax numbers for easy communications and also re confirm your banking details, so that there won't be any mistake.for phone converstion, please call me on +234-8051708534.

Regards,

Ms Justina Oge

Aus govt requests Chest X-ray numero dos

So for my second visa, I am required to give a second costly chest x-ray! When I questioned my case officer, she confirmed that since I spent more than 6 months in China, I will again have to confirm my tuberculosis-freeity via xray again:

Me: Hey so I had an x-ray last year when I applied for my current visa. I spent a lot on it, are you sure I have to get it again?

Zoe, my case officer: Hmm, is that so? Let me look it up.

2 minutes on the phone pass

Zoe: Yes I see here you got the x-ray

Me: And I am tuberculosis free!

Zoe: Yes you are. But they are only good for one year and your x-ray expires... today.

Me: Doh!

Does tuberculosis linger and then jolt you like a dodgy appliance, waiting to strike? My lungs are probably decrepit from the pollution from my stay in China, but I hopefully did not contract this ------->

However after further research, I found that one in three people in the world are thought to have TB! In 2007 there were an estimated 13.7 million chronic active cases, 9.3 million new cases, and 1.8 million deaths, mostly in developing countries. The distribution of tuberculosis is not uniform across the globe; about 80% of the population in many Asian and African countries test positive in tuberculin tests, while only 5–10% of the US population test positive.

Struggling hotels

The CBD hotels in Adelaide say that their clients who travel for business have stayed steady but their interstate/local clientele have been reluctant to book in recent months. Well, the Hilton has the money idea. They've created a “Rock Star” deal, which includes two pairs of sunglasses and a security escort to dinner.

Choosing this hotel solely for this deal: pathetic.
